The educational and academic community of the CIS countries get more and more interested in the experience and practices of the 'Investment in the Future' Charitable Foundation. In July 2023, the Foundation experts Nina Rychka, Marina Kateyeva and Ekaterina Khaustova participated in two international events: the 11th International Academic and Applied Science Conference 'Modern Trends in Additional Education Development: Accessibility Enhancement Mechanisms and Quality Assessment Tools' held in Kyrgyzstan on 9–12 July 2023, and on 19 July, a summer bootcamp for rural school teachers, held in Belarus.
At the 11th International Academic and Applied Science Conference, E. Khaustova spoke at a panel discussion of 'Innovations, Rebooting Quality Narratives in Additional Education of Children', where she presented the Foundation's program, the experience of transforming kindergarten educational spaces in Russian regions and the results achieved. The Foundation's expertise caught the interest of the delegates and was discussed at a meeting with Rector of the Kyrgyz National University. The meeting outcomes inform discussions of potential cooperation options and joint initiative proposals.
The Conference was attended by over 120 delegates that represented the educational and scientific communities from Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Belarus, and Russia. The event was arranged by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, the 'Balajan' Republican Teaching Methodology Center for Aesthetic Education – UNESCO's first club in Kyrgyzstan, and the Yaroslavl State Pedagogical University named after K.D.Ushinsky.
'Participation in our program allows educational institutions to change their internal culture, reboot the initiative of teachers and educators and create professional self-learning communities motivated towards personality development. Let me specifically underscore the value of a community of education professionals as one of the key factors impacting the effectiveness and motivation of education workers. The research undertaken shows a connection between the existence of such a community at a school and the involvement and perceived well-being of the educators themselves,' Ekaterina Khaustova noted in her speech.
Experts of the 'Investment in the Future' Charitable Foundation delivered an online session on 'Techniques and Tools for Creating Education Environment for Personality Development in Schools' as part of the summer bootcamp for rural school teachers in Belarus. The event was arranged by the 'New School' Foundation with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus and the Academy of Postgraduate Education.
More than 25 teachers from Belarussian regional schools and candidates for the rural school teacher selection program joined the event. The experts introduced Belarussian colleagues to the techniques and tools for creating and developing an education environment for personality development in schools, as well as to the experience gained in the course of the Foundation programs implementation.
The 'New School' Foundation was established in 2019 with support from Sberbank and since that time it has been launching educational special projects and supporting educational initiatives. This work is carried out in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and universities of Belarus.
