International Cooperation

Charitable Foundation 'Investment in the Future' participates in various international projects and initiatives in the field of developing educational environment, personality potential of children and teachers, research in the area of modern education and pedagogics. Since 2021 the Foundation has been actively developing international cooperation and interacting with international and national institutions, working in the field of education.

International institutions

Transforming Education Summit took place in September 2022 as part of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly. The key topic of the Summit was the issue of quality of education and engagement of all actors in the discussion on its transformation. In this context, Interactive Knowledge Center was established as a global online platform for the exchange of best practices, expertise, resources and discussion of education issues. Among others, two cases of the Charitable Foundation 'Investment in the Future' were selected and published.

  2. Personality potential development: a professional enhancement program for teachers

On 23 May 2024, during an international symposium in Lusaka, Zambia, UNESCO and UNICEF announced the joint launch of the global initiative Building Strong Foundations to advance basic education for health and well-being and to develop vital skills in children and adolescents. The Program implementation experience was described in the analytics digest, called “Building strong foundations: what to teach for foundational education for health and well-being”, was published in the lead-up to the Summit.

Progress by 2024

  • A team of 38 training teachers was trained to implement methodologies, aimed at creating a developmental educational environment.
  • A pilot group of 15 schools and kindergartens in Kostanay Oblast was arranged for testing and implementation, 59 managers were trained.
  • There are plans to adapt the methodologies for training teachers and educational materials for children from the 1st to the 11th grade, conduct joint monitoring, develop recommendations for integrating the methods into the country's general education system.
  • A possibility is considered to translate the methodologies into the Kazakh language and establish a separate module on creation of developing environment and personality potential of children and teachers as a part of the basic curriculum within bachelor's and master's programs.

Progress by 2024

A team of 23 training teachers was trained to implement methodologies, aimed at creating a developmental educational environment. A pilot group of 13 schools and kindergartens was arranged for testing and implementation, 63 managers were trained. 70 schools and kindergartens from five regions of the Kyrgyz Republic will be selected for scaling. There are plans to adapt the methodologies for training teachers and educational materials for children of preschool and primary school age, conduct joint monitoring, develop recommendations for integrating the methods into the country's general education system. The University is preparing to launch a master’s program 'Development of Personality Potential in Education: Personalization and Digitalization.' A possibility of translating some methodologies into the Kyrgyz language is being explored.
