International Cooperation

The Investment in the Future Charitable Foun participates in various international projects and initiatives related to the topics of developing educational environment, personality potential of children and teachers, research in modern education and pedagogics. Since 2021 the Foundation has been actively developing its international program and interacting with international and national institutions, which operate in the field of education.

International Recognition

Transforming Education Summit

In September 2022, the Transforming Education Summit took place as part of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly. The key topic of the Summit was the issue of the quality of education and the engagement of all actors in the discussion on its transformation. In this context, the Interactive Knowledge Center was established as a global online platform for the exchange of best practices, expertise, resources, and discussion of education issues.

Among others, two cases from the Foundation’s practice were selected and published:

  1. Building Social and Emotional Skills in Pre- and Primary School Learners
  2. Personality potential development: a professional enhancement program for teachers
Building Strong Foundations

On 23 May 2024, during an international symposium in Lusaka, Zambia, UNESCO and UNICEF announced the joint launch of the global initiative "Building Strong Foundations" to advance basic education for health and well-being and to develop vital skills in children and adolescents. The Program’s implementation experience was described in the analytical brief, called "Building Strong Foundations: What to Teach for Foundational Education For Health and Well-being", which was published in the lead-up to the Summit.

Progress by 2024

  • A team of 38 teachers was trained to implement methodologies, aimed at creating a developing educational environment.
  • A pilot group of 15 schools and kindergartens in Kostanay Region was arranged for testing and implementation, 59 managers were trained.
  • Plans to adapt the methodologies for teacher training and preparation of educational materials for children in grades 1-11, conduct joint monitoring, and develop recommendations for integration into the country's general education system.
  • Plans to translate the methodologies into Kazakh and establish a separate module on the developing environment and personality potential of children and teachers as part of the basic curriculum within bachelor's and master's programs.

Progress by 2024

  • A team of 23 teachers was trained to implement methodologies, aimed at creating a developing educational environment.
  • A pilot group of 13 schools and kindergartens was arranged for testing and implementation, 63 managers were trained. 70 schools and kindergartens from five regions of the Kyrgyz Republic will be selected for scaling.
  • There are plans to adapt the methodologies for teacher training and preparation of educational materials for children of preschool and primary school age, conduct joint monitoring, develop recommendations for integration into the country's general education system.
  • The University is preparing to launch a master’s program “Development of Personality Potential in Education: Personalization and Digitalization.”
  • Plans to translate the methodologies into Kyrgyz.
