Comprehensive well-being in focus: results of joint work at the Summer School in Kazakhstan

In August 2025, the innovative training format gathered more than 200 professionals in Almaty at the Summer School "Healthy Generation Z: Synergy of Education and Healthcare".

The unique platform became a meeting ground for 40 experts who gathered offline, and more than 150 participants who joined online. Special attention was paid to the issues of interdepartmental interaction, the search for cooperation options, and the comprehensive development of the educational organization's environment.

One of the event’s key speakers was Marina Kateeva, Leading Methodologist of the Developing Environment Programme at the Investment in the Future Charitable Foundation. During six interactive sessions, she presented to the participants current methods of working with teenagers and their parents, including:

  • Technologies for creating a developing educational environment,
  • Principles of emotional literacy development,
  • Algorithms for making informed decisions,
  • Effective interaction techniques.

The practical value of the event was confirmed by the transfer of electronic packages of materials containing presentations, checklists, and working templates. The participants noted the special relevance of topics on dialogue interaction, techniques of nonviolent communication, and socio-emotional development.

Participation in the international project was a logical continuation of the Foundation's systematic work, which began in 2023, and the Summer School confirmed its importance as a platform for the exchange of experience between specialists of different spheres united by a common goal — to create a safe and prosperous educational environment for the younger generation.

The event was held with the support of UNESCO IITE, as well as the Ministries of Education and Health of Kazakhstan.
