The Investment in the Future Charitable Foundation is moving forward with its partnership with the Kyrgyz National University (KNU). This April, with the Foundation's support, KNU launched a new cohort for its professional development programme, Managing the Creation of a Personality-Developing Educational Environment, tailored for Kyrgyz educators.

The programme modules focus on the core values of a personality-developing educational environment, organizational culture, and the social-emotional development of both teachers and students. The courses are taught by KNU faculty members who previously completed a training programme organized by Moscow City University (MCU) and backed by the Foundation.

Over 60 educators and school administrators from seven Kyrgyz educational institutions participated in the programme. Following graduation, they will begin implementing these new educational frameworks in their schools under the guidance of KNU and Foundation specialists.

The vital role of children's social-emotional growth was also a key theme at the International Scientific and Practical Conference on Violence Prevention in Schools: Legal Protection and Psycho-Pedagogical Support, hosted by KNU in April. Marina Kateeva, an expert from the Foundation, delivered a keynote presentation on how fostering social and emotional skills serves as an effective tool to prevent school bullying.

A major outcome of the conference was the adoption of an official resolution. Key action points include introducing extracurricular activities into the school curriculum specifically designed to build emotional intelligence and critical thinking—essential skills that protect children against manipulation and bullying.

Under the current cooperation agreement between KNU and the Investment in the Future Charitable Foundation, both institutions will continue to share expertise and drive forward projects aimed at modernizing education.
