Kyrgyz National University and Investment in the Future Charitable Foundation Have Discussed Plans for Teacher Training

Sberbank's Investment in the Future Charitable Foundation took part in in-person discussions regarding the cooperation roadmap with the Kyrgyz National University named after J. Balasagyn (KNU). Future work is planned around teacher training for the 2025/2026 academic year.

The event represents a natural progression of the partnership that commenced in 2023 with the signing of a cooperation agreement. This collaboration has fostered a fruitful exchange of experiences in the execution of educational projects and programs.

During the visit, the following events were organized:

  • design sessions with educators from the Institute of Retraining and Advanced Training of Personnel at KNU;
  • strategic meetings with representatives from the education departments of the Chüy, Ysyk-Ata, Moscow, and Sokuluk Regions;
  • workshops with the school development teams that completed training in the fall of 2024.

The educational program of the visit included a master class by a delegate from the Laboratory of Human Potential Development in Education at Moscow City University (MCU) on working with children with disabilities.

As a result of discussions, key priority areas for future collaboration were identified:

  • Training development teams utilizing resources created by the Developing Environment Program;
  • Expanding the teaching staff by incorporating new personnel to work with the educational and methodological packages of the Program, as requested by pilot schools;
  • Facilitating integration by incorporating the Program’s materials into the educational activities of KNU students.

Training for teaching teams in schools and kindergartens across the Kyrgyz Republic is set to begin in the fall of 2025.
