International Conference on Psychology in the Digital World: Discussing Current Issues and Seeking Solutions

In October 2024, the International Scientific Conference "Current Issues in Psychology within the Digital World" was held at the Fergana State University (Uzbekistan). The Conference was attended by education specialists from Uzbekistan, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan. Experts from the Investment in the Future Charitable Foundation also participated in the event.

The primary objective of the Conference was to discuss and analyze pressing social and psychological issues caused by digitalization and to determine effective strategies for overcoming its negative consequences. The program of the Conference included sections dedicated to key issues of psychological well-being, education, family relationships, and professional activities in the context of the digital world.

Ekaterina Haustova, Head of the International Program at the Investment in the Future Charitable Foundation, spoke at the online plenary session presenting the topic "How to Help Children Find Their Inner Support: Researching the Impact of Educators on Children's Personal Development."

She emphasized that the Investment in the Future Foundation operates with the target focus on the success and psychological well-being of every individual here and now. It creates the basis for the development of a mature personality to find fulfillment in the modern world. Over 403,000 children aged 5 to 18 are already being taught using the teaching materials developed by the Foundation.

Creating an educational environment that fosters self-development and self-learning in children is becoming not just advisable but a necessary condition for a successful future for children. Such an environment should not only be a place for acquiring knowledge but also a space where every child can unlock their potential, learn to make independent decisions, and find answers to questions that life poses.

Helping to implement practices for creating an environment for personality development in educational organizations is one of the main tasks of the Developing Environment Program of the Investment in the Future Charitable Foundation.
