Kyrgyz Educators Received Training under an International Agreement Between the Kyrgyz National University and the Investment in the Future Charitable Foundation

47 teachers from seven Kyrgyz educational organizations, as well as KNU master's students attended the training. It focused on creating a developing environment and advancing social and emotional skills. Having mastered these skills, an educator can implement more effective teaching and create a welcoming atmosphere in a children's team, thus contributing to a child's psychological well-being. Previously, management teams of these educational organizations underwent special training on forming of a personality-developing educational environment.

The participants of the online training received lectures on the following topics: developing a school environment, creating conditions for personality potential development, practical implementation of modern educational technologies, etc.

During the training program, participants:

• mastered tools for checking social and emotional skills of primary school students;
• identified the contribution of the teacher's personal and professional development to the social and emotional development of children;
• mastered tools for developing social and emotional skills;
• learned how to apply methods and techniques for developing social and emotional skills in their professional activities;
• learned how to create a developing environment in an educational organization using tools for the development of social and emotional skills;
• gained experience in using the acquired knowledge and skills, and made plans to share the results with colleagues;
• designed teaching activities for the development of social and emotional skills of students for the current academic year.

After completing the training, the teaching teams will continue to work under the supervision of KNU specialists on the implementation of educational solutions developed with the support of the Foundation. A specially designed educational chatbot will help them in the task.

The agreement on international cooperation between the Kyrgyz National University and the Investment in the Future Charitable Foundation was signed on November 20, 2023 and is aimed, among other things, at exchanging experience of the program and project implementation in the field of modern education development.
