The 'Investment in the Future' Charitable Foundation Expands International Ties

On 23 through 26 April 2024, a delegation of the 'Investment in the Future' Charitable Foundation visited Almaty in Kazakhstan to discuss matters of cooperation with the Republic's leading national teachers' training universities.

'For us, international cooperation is emerging as a key vector of our Foundation's activity. Communication, experience exchange and implementation of shared education environment development practices show how relevant this topic is not only for Russia, but for other countries as well. Colleagues are prepared to implement our practices in their educational institutions, to educate and get educated. Together we are confidently progressing towards our common goal, that is towards a developmental education environment where every participant will feel at ease'.

The delegation, headed by Peter Polozhevets, Executive Director of the 'Investment in the Future' Charitable Foundation, met with Gulmira Kanai, Rector of the Kazakh National Womens Teacher Training University, Aigul Iskakova, Vice-Rector for Development and Internationalization of the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, and Banu Narbekova, Vice-Rector for Academic Activity of the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical Univeristy.

The parties discussed potential interaction in the area of joint research, exchange of experience, as well as introduction of the teaching methodology materials developed by the Foundation in the area of creating a developmental education environment, into the practices of Kazakh teachers. The meetings resulted in an understanding regarding continued cooperation: our colleagues expressed their readiness to participate in the 'Investment in the Future' Foundation's events in Russia. The professional enhancement programs for teachers, the 'Development of personality potential in education: personalization and digitization' master's program materials, and the 'School of Opportunities' teaching methodology suite all aroused strong interest.

In addition, the Foundation's delegation met with Roza Sadykova, President of the Republican Association of Private Educational Institutions (RAPEI), as well as principals of a number of non-public schools and kindergartens in Almaty. At the meetings, the delegation presented the research materials developed by the Foundation in the spheres of digital and financial literacy, the child's social and emotional development, as well as in the sphere of educating and training managers and teaching professionals. School and kindergarten representatives expressed their willingness to become a platform for the implementation of the Foundation's tools and research materials.
